I am unable to resolve DNS on my device

Afternoon all,

I have come across an issue on my desktop. This isn’t the normal issue of flushing dns.

All my packets are being absorbed, I cannot connect to any webpages or the internet at all. I’m able to ping an IP address but cannot ping hostnames which led me to find that I have a dns issue. Tried hotspotting of a mobile device and tried Ethernet too. Even tried a NIC from a separate machine which didn’t resolve my issue. Tried repairing windows 11 via usb which failed too

The error I see within windows internal pktmon reveals all packets are being “absorbed” by component 103 at location 0xE0004170

Done some online research and found literally NOTHING. 3 results, 2 return Microsoft documentation about pktmon and the last one returns an issue seen on a Chinese forum that resolved itself.

Reddit is my last helpline, I’m wondering if anyone else has experience in fixing this. If all else fails I’m thinking of just getting a new machine
